Although the leaves have not started changing and we keep getting a few days of sunshine a week, our 2011 summer wedding season is now just  memories and pictures. It’s fun to look back and think of all of the things we have learned from new locations and venues to wonderful recipes that share our love of local, fresh and organic foods.

Wedding SeasonOne of the joys of catering for me is the shopping I do for each job. I love the hunt for the biggest and freshest berries, crisp veggies and greens and fun flowers and herbs to garnish the buffet with. We had the pleasure of catering a rehearsal dinner at a lovely country home that the hostess was kind enough to share the bounty of her garden.
